Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko congratulated his compatriots on Constitution Day. This was reported to BELTA by the press service of the Belarusian leader.
“The Basic Law, updated with the participation of millions of Belarusians, became the foundation for building a truly people’s state, in which caring for people is a priority of the policy,” the head of state noted. “In Belarus, a society of equal opportunities is being created, the rights and freedoms of citizens are being protected, the institution of the family is being strengthened, a system of support for youth is in place, and healthcare, science and education are actively developing. The state is promoting spiritual revival, the preservation of cultural heritage and interfaith dialogue.”
The President noted: “In the year of the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, the provisions of the Constitution aimed at preserving the historical truth about the sacred feat of the Belarusian people are of particular importance. Our children and grandchildren should know and remember this truth about the heroes who defended the freedom of the Motherland.”
Alexander Lukashenko expressed his conviction that patriotism, unity, loyalty to constitutional principles and values will be the key to the prosperity and independence of our country.
The head of state wished everyone peace, goodness, prosperity and new achievements for the benefit of the Fatherland.

In Belarus, a society of equal opportunities is being created, the rights and freedoms of citizens are being protected, the institution of the family is being strengthened, a system of support for youth is in place, health care, science and education are actively developing. The state provides assistance to spiritual revival, preservation of cultural heritage and interfaith dialogue.
