The inauguration ceremony of the newly elected President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko will be held on March 25. This was reported to BELTA by the Central Election Commission.

According to the Constitution of the Republic of Belarus, the Oath of the President is taken in a solemn ceremony in the presence of members of the Presidium of the All-Belarusian People’s Assembly, deputies of the House of Representatives and members of the Council of the Republic, judges of the Constitutional and Supreme Courts no later than two months from the day of the election of the President.
